1982 Harley FXB Sturgis
![]() 1982 Harley Davidson FXB "Sturgis" Motorcycle
THE RARE ONE
Of the early years Harley-Davidson honored the Sturgis Rally and Races with the commemorative Edition "Sturgis" model motorcycles, the "82" is probably the most collectable.
The "82" has the honor of wearing an emblem on the front fender noting the first year of the reorganized Harley-Davidson Motor company. Several prior years were under the management and ownership of "AMF". This low-slung, primarily black with gold wheels bike has a look of its own.
The "B" in the "FXB Sturgis" denotes the introduction of the belt drive that is the standard yet today. Power is provided by the famous "shovelhead" 80 Cubic Inch engine turning the primary as well as final belt drive through a four speed transmission.
This very original motorcycle is a true honest to goodness delight to ride and own. It has the classic look and feel of what a head turning "Harley" is all about. This is the one the crowd gathers around at every stop.
